I was getting in a rut with dinners and received a great surprise from my friend Heather. She sent me a copy of Against All Grain Meals Made Simple Cookbook. I’m super picky about BBQ sauce. I like it sweet, but no too sweet with a little smokey flavor and this was right on target. I did add a tablespoon of molasses to give it a little extra sweetness and excluded the fish sauce (didn’t have any in the cupboard). It’s so good and nice to know I won’t be cheating when I eat BBQ sauce anymore. I made enough to freeze some for later too. My husband also made the Hawaiian Chicken Burgers tonight with sweet potato fries. I can’t wait to try the BBQ Short Ribs and the Cuban Pork Panini.
